That's a really new game where I found gamers griping even with a top end 980m. Portal 2 is still fairly demanding.
What laptops made your short list? I would offer models sold here such as the rather nice Lenovo y50 but that may not be available in your country. You first.
Hello there! I'd really appreciate som guidance about the specs I need, a first step to choose a laptop since I'm a noobie.
After 5 intense years my Asus K52jr is getting old and I'm looking for a good replacement. I would use it several hours each day for work (journalism) and general use, with frequent multitasking, so I'm willing to invest on a potent good susbtitute.
Budget range: 600-900€ (1000)
Purpose: Travel, Working, low spec gaming, general browsing, multitasking.
Screen size preference: At least 15'6
OS preference: Windows
Gaming requirements: Moderate. Not needed to be able to display GTAV, I'm okay with games that doesn't need much like Castle Crashers, Trine, Portal 2...
Other performance requirements: Text editing, lots and lots of tabs.
Portability requirements: Generally won't leave the house(although I'll travel with it) so I don't care about weight and battery is not a priority.
I don't care about a touchscreen or a CD space.
Thank you for your time!
