No new complaint here and like a dinosaur stuck in a tar pit I won't go far to help but to note this is one of the usual complaints. These Intel graphics do this because the drivers just are poor as the graphic resources.
The owner usually tries to get help by claiming it worked before and this is exactly the problem with this graphic system.
All you can do is try cooling and see if you can install other versions of the graphics driver from Intel.com but all the techs I know won't enter this tar pit.
Hello!
Lately I've been experiencing a lot of problems with my laptop (HP Probook 450 G3). I was able to play both League of Legends (around 120FPS) and Fortnite (60FPS) on my computer with low graphic settings, without experiencing any FPS drops. But in the last 14 days (both games had a few minor patches in between), the FPS has been dropping rapidly.
While playing Fortnite, I no longer get more than 45FPS with the same settings, and I do not believe it has anything to do with the games getting more CPU hungry.
While playing League, I still have about 110-120FPS, but for some reason, FPS drops to about 40-50, every 2-3min. When i go back to desktop for a few seconds using ALT+TAB and then back in, the FPS are back to 110-120.
I have literally 0 processes running in the background, I also use a laptop cooler, but it doesn't seem to help. I know my laptop is not like the best for gaming, but these rapid changes with overheating pissed me off, since I know i still could play those games like before without experiencing FPS drops.
I've been researching but haven't found a right answer for my problem, but I guess the cooling system might have an issue maybe it even broke down, but I'm wondering if there are other options, what could be wrong.
My specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-6500U (2,5GHz)
- 8GB RAM,
- GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520
Thank you for your help!
