Question

Overclocking on h170 pro gaming

Mar 20, 2018 5:20PM PDT

I bought an h170 pro gaming motherboard and want to know if it supports overclocking for i56600k. It said it has oc features but I've heard the z170 boards are for oc. Could I still oc on this board?
Thanks.

The H series does not support cpu overclocking.

For that you would need the Z series.

The H series does support xmp for the ram.

Your mobo has a tuning suite which you can play around with.
