Overclocking Guide

by raa / January 4, 2007 11:09 AM PST

I've done a bit of searching online, but I can't find a good overcloking guide that offers a workshop style info.

Can anybody point me to a site with step-by-step on how to overclock?

When you OC, you're abusing your system, thus its VERY IMPORTANT to keep your system cool for *all componets*. You have been warned. Wink

I suggest you google for "modding" or "mods" websites that get into all sources of mischief. Happy Try: http://www.overclockers.com
and then proceed to click on other links provided. Of course it helps if you have a OC friendly mtrbd. and/or s/w for any video OC tasks, so if you don't have such, its that more difficult if not generally impossible for OEM type systems.

Tom's OC guide is just an overview on different mobos/cpus recommended for overclocking.

What I'm looking for is a guide with language similar to:

Enter your bios,
select xyz link,
change voltage to 1.5V,
