Here I sit on the throne
I began to wonder
should it be "over or under"
Then with twinkle
I wasn't fickle
I just take a fistful
I was done with my task
Now I knew at last
I no longer pondered the past
I just wiped my "???"

In my case, back it in. Here's why.

We own some hybrid and this one gets the best mileage when the engine is warm. Since it's the same work and distance either way the gain is that you want to minimize effort when the engine is colder and the hybrid system is not functional yet. So when you arrive this model is getting its best MPG so do all the work then.

I'd always thought backing in was rude as well as

pulling all the forward in double rowed parking lots so you could pull forward to get out. How many times have you tried to pull into an available space only to find someone from the next row over pulling all the way forward into the spot you wanted? Then, I had to complete a driver training course for my employer as I am provided with a company car. On the topic of parking, one test question dealt with pulling through these type of parking lots in order to be nose forward. The preferred parking method was to not back up but find a space were available where you could pull fully forward and be nose outward. The reasoning was that parking lot accidents generally involve someone backing up. This suggestion seemed contrary to common courtesy and so I had points deducted for my answer which was to just pull in to the space in that row. My thinking was that, by pulling forward, you've probably just required someone else who uses the space you drove through to back up in order to exit...exposing them to the danger of an accident. Seems rather selfish to me. Happy

is the guy who takes up two parking spots for his car, because he and his car are much more important than anybody else on the planet.
