General discussion

Over exposed video

Nov 10, 2007 1:52AM PST

Hi,

I guess I forgot to switch out the white balance as I came out from inside to outside, so I've got an over exposed video.

Is there any solution than can help me so that I can make a movie that can be seen without sunglasses?

Thanks in advance.

Filters &/or Effects

The video editors I use have filters or effects which allow me to darken or adjust the contrast. You should be able to do that.

Thanks, I'm using Premiere, there is, as you say, filters that darken the image and effects doing the same.
But, it is not enough, I only get darker image, I'm lowering 25% the brigntness factor, but it is still too white, if I lower more, I start to loose the rest of the image.

I even tried the free correction program Video Pilot, but makes exactly the same.

Thanks again.
