over clocking

ok so i wanna overclock my hardrive it a dell g-270 up to three gigs is there anyway to do this??

You don't overclock a hard drive. You overclock a CPU. And the 3 gB RAM isn't involved at all.
Relevant info: make and model of motherboard and CPU you currently have.

computers from the BIG BOX MFGS like Dell, Gateway and so on do not have the BIOS options for overclocking. Bottom line, you're out of luck.
