outlook2003 upgrade problems

Aug 15, 2005 11:00PM PDT

I currently have office 2000 and windows xp home. Recently outlook was acting differently,so I went to the windows website and had it run a check for any ugrades or fixes. It came up with missing upgrades so I downloaded and installed them. Now I have outlook 2003 and all my folders and old messages are missing. When it first comes up it asks for my ofice cd which i don't have any longer. Is there any way to get back to the way it was or retreive my missing folders? I wish i could be more specific about the upgrades it installed but I really can't remember which ones microsoft said I needed. Also, I installed office 2000 last fall onto this new laptop, which might have had a trial of office 2003 which i never used. thanks for any help you can give me.
