Outlook with no send icon

Outlook with no send icon
I recently signed up for broad band and with it got my providors e mail facility. I wanted to switch back to outlook which seemed straight forward enough BUT. I have no send button when i write a message and can't find it anywhere on any menus. Really weird, has anyone got any ideas?

Try this if you haven't already

Open up Outlook and select Actions > New message. Then in the new message window, goto View > Toolbars. In the menu, select "Customize".

In the Customize dialogue, tick the "Commands" tab and in the list of Commands in the right pane, scroll down until you see an icon called "Send now".

Grab that with the mouse and drag it to anywhere on the toolbars where you want it to be.

That should at least give you a send button on the toolbars.

Try F9

While I know you want the button back, and following the previous person's post you can do that, you can also just press F9, or
select Tools>Send/Receive>All
(that is in Outlook 2003, your version may be slightly different, but it is there, somewhere).
