Outlook Today Disappeared

Jan 20, 2005 11:57PM PST

A week ago, I decided to move 2004 Outlook archive folders to a CD, thus preserving last year's emails, appointments, etc., etc.

THEN I deleted the Archive file, or so I thought.

However, when I open Outlook now, it opens in "Archive". It operates normally, but "Outlook Today" is history.

Looking at the drop-down, there are now TWO "Archive" folders, each containing identical icons (Calendar, Notes, Addresses, etc.)

Is this something to worry about? I'm interested in preserving hard-drive space.

THANKS for all the help!

I don't have Outlook but maybe this Microsoft page will help. It's for 2003 though, not 2004. The last half of the page starts dealing with different known problems with Outlook. It wouldn't hurt to look, at it. There is a "next" button at the bottom of each page also.
