It appears to be the same there. You are right the subject title must be short. At least the attached note about the task can be quite long.
My OL2000 breaks on spaces so I can type a lot without it affecting the width. However if I do something odd and leave out spaces it will make the column wider.
My bet is that there will be no cure offered.

I am using Outlook 2003 and have a petty (buy annoying) thing that happens and wondered if anyone knows how to fix. BTW, this happened on previous versions of Outlook, too.
I have set up Outlook Today in the Standard 2-column format. When I have a lengthy Task, the Task column will expand, crushing the Calendar column into a narrow space (and making appointments spread out.)
Besides the obvious (making shorter tasks), is there a way to correct this?
