Outlook is driving me crazy!

Sep 23, 2005 12:08AM PDT

Is it me or is it Microsoft? There are so many little annoyances with this program that I rely on for my small business! Please help!
1. In replying to messages, Outlook always uses my personal email account, even tho I have set up my business account as the default. It also never uses my signature for anything but new messages, even tho I set that up as the signature for new messages and replies and forwards.
2. Since I am not a Microsoft Exchange user, I don't have access to the ''away message'' feature. (Why, Microsoft?) But it seems I can't even set up some rules as a work-around. The program does not obey my rules to use my business email account and business stationary for replies. Why?
3. I've also set up a rule to notify me on delivery of all my messages. It just doesn't happen. Why?
4. My Mail Folders list has my Personal Folders listed twice. I can't seem to delete the second one.
5. I won't even go into all the problems I have with the Business Contact Manager add-in. But has Microsoft even tested this program?
I am running XP, SP2, on an AMD Althon 64 processor running at 2.4GHz, with 2GB of RAM.
Thanks for any help!
