FORMERLY USED WINDOWS 98 WITH XP INSTALLED OVER IT. VIRUS PROBLEMS LED TO REFORMAT AND XP-ONLY INSTALLED.HAVE TWO HARD DRIVES ONE NOT REFORMATTED (20 GB EACH). NO VIRUSES NOW WITH MCAFEE. I HAVE FOLDER WITH ALOT OF DBX-FILES WITH FORMER E-MAIL NAMES. IF OPENED THERE ARE MANY SQUARES (? MACHINE LANGUAGE). IN THE SAME PATH (C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT OFFICE\OFFICE 10\OUTLOOK) I ALSO HAVE AN ICON NAMED "OUTLOOK" WHICH OPENS THE NEW E-MAIL PAGE. I HAVE TRIED TO COPY THE OUTLOOK FOLDER TO THE ICON AND TO IMPORT WHEN OUTLOOK IS OPEN. MICROSOFT 312359-OLEXP AND 283205 DID NOT HELP OR CONFUSED ME. PLEASE HELP
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
