Question

Outlook folders disappeared

May 4, 2018 5:56AM PDT

I went to my Outlook folder list and created a new folder. When I finished, all my existing folders disappeared. I've looked everywhere, including external hard drive, and I can't find them. Hair pulling out time!

you said "new folder" but....

...I think it's more likely you created a "new profile" instead and now it's opening to that instead. If true, then your old profile is still there.

You have practiced good computer procedures and have them on backups. Restore from your last backup after you try rebooting.

- Outlook folders only exist inside the .pst file, not in Windows. So looking in Windows doesn't make any sensem as you noticed.
- If you restore your pst-file from your backup (first rename the existing one, because that would be overwritten) do you still see everything?
- How do you mean "finished"?
