If "at work we" means it's on several PC's, that makes me think the MS Exchange server is involved. Then find the IT-guy that manages that server and see if he can do something about it.

At work we use Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 for e-mail.
We use the 'find' feature quite a lot, however for some reason, despite having it set to 'newest on top' and 'arranged by date' the first emails it 'finds' are from April 09. It then searches through all the previous e-mails, before finally searching through those since April 09 and slotting any findings in at the top of the list.
Obviously this takes a long time and it would be quicker if Outlook could search through the most recent first (as generally this is most likely to be where the required email is to be found) so that the seach could be stopped when it gets to the email you are looking for. Is there any way to alter the 'find' parameters so that Outlook will look through the most recent emails first?
