Which one is better for quickmail downloading, contacts, engagements and all other features?

Outlook Express (which comes free with the Windows OS) is only a mail tool. It does not handle appointments or contacts (other than a mail list of people).

Outlook is the more versatile mail, contacts, appointments, note taking, calendar, and journal tool. Also it comes included in the MS Office suite. (I believe you may also buy it separately.)

You might also find other non-MS tools that might perform all your desired functions that come as share or freeware.

I am not endorsing any product. I have my own desires, but what I have just said is not intended to be indicative of what I do use.

Akghosh,

If I read your post correctly about "Quickmail", and although I'm not really familiar with Quickmail, I believe it's a simple webmail client and as such, it will need some sort of "migration" program to allow it to work correctly with EITHER Outlook or Outlook Express.

As mentioned earlier, Microsoft Outlook is better adapted to commmercial situations where calendars, contacts, group contacts, and complicated tasks are required. If the Quickmail has a POP3 server from which you can download, either OE or Outlook will work, but Outlook will be the more "secure" and versatile of the two. The newer versions of Outlook have developed a fairly secure program which allows for integrated virus scanning and blocking of dangerous attachments. Outlook Express 6 now has some of these upgrades but not all.

Hope this helps.
