Outlook Express/Thunderbird

Apr 23, 2005 11:56PM PDT

Am I doing something wrong or is that just the way it is? I installed Thunderbird, made it the default, changed "program" to Thunderbird, clicked apply, clicked OK. I then get a message from Spyware Guard that my home page, http://msn.com has changed to http://msn.com/. I tried to say keep new value and I've tried to say restore old value, but I always get the same result, that is "that" when I turn off the computer and restart, I get the same message again from Spyware Guard, about the home page, and when I click on the "envelope" icon I always get "Outlook Express" back. After I have redone Thunderbird again, the envelope icon does go to Thunderbird, while I am connected. Is the 'envelope' icon tied to OE period or is there a work around. What does changing the home page matter anyway,.com to .com/ ?
Running WinXP Pro, SP2. Thanks for any help.
Eddie
