Outlook Express question (again)

Jun 4, 2005 1:08AM PDT

When I reply to email messages in Outlook Express, the original message is at the bottom. How can I get it at the top (or can I)? I've searched OE help to no avail. many thanks.

Clarification
Jun 5, 2005 10:36AM PDT

As I re-read my first post and the response, I'm not sure I was clear.
My question has to do w/the placement of the replied to message. When I hit reply, it's blank, then my signature then my original message. Is there a way, to automatically have the message to which I'm replying be at the top, so that my reply is underneath (and no wasted blank space at the top). This is all in Outlook Express.

Big N.O.
Jun 5, 2005 11:41AM PDT
http://www.insideoutlookexpress.com/faqs/why.htm#signature writes:

" With OE, and its predecessor Internet Mail and News, Microsoft decided to be consistent with its other mail clients rather than Internet clients, and so quoted material is placed below the signature. Unfortunately, this behaviour cannot be changed by the user. "

The nice thing here is you don't have to use this product.

What would you recommend if not OE?

If I understand, you can go into OE tools, send and check the box to send original message with reply. Copy and cut anything above the message you don't want.
