Outlook express log on problem

Oct 8, 2005 1:37AM PDT

I have set outlook express 6 to solely handling my hotmail account. Recently I noticed when I start OE, two same windows popup to ask for my password for hotmail.
Since I only set up one account in OE, why is it happening this way? Is it related to the OE setting? Any ways to change to only have one window popup instead of two?

Not sure

I haven't heard of this before.

But there is something you can check. In Outlook Express, goto Tools > Accounts, and then click the mail tab.

Do you have two email accounts listed? if so, and if they are the same email account, you can delete one of them.

If not, we will have to think again.

Try removing your email accounts.

Close Outlook Express.

Wait 15 seconds and then Open Outlook Express.

Add new mail account.

Hopefully this will work.
