Has anybody ever contacted Microsoft and asked them to put an option in Outlook Express that would allow us to delete any email coming from someone not in our address book contacts list?
This would be a great way to get rid of the dozen or more a day spams I get. I believe that Hotmail has such an option.

In OE, select the email then go to Message > Block sender > OK > OK.

Or set email rules. In OE, go to Tools > Message Rules > Mail.

Still, many SPAMmer's continually change their email address, Subject and Body text to get around these settings. Best to be very careful where you post your email address.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks I'm familiar with Block sender and message rules. Since I have OEM Windows, I can't get direct with Microsoft and was hoping one of the moderator's had ,concerning the need for an option to block email from those not in the address book contacts.
