Outlook Express 2003

Aug 30, 2005 5:06PM PDT

I am not able to access attachments received with my e-mails. The message header says that "OE removed the following unsafe attachments...". How do I open these attachments, which I know are safe?

First of all, there's no such thing as Outlook Express 2003. There's Office 2003, containing Outlook 2003, and IE6.0, containing Outlook Express 6.0.
I assume you're talking about Outlook Express.

This is a security setting. In OE go to Tools>Options, Security tab and uncheck it. It's the last (second) checkbox under Virus protection.

Microsoft cares about your security and has this option checked by default. You'd better have a good antivirus working if you plan to uncheck it.
