have your brother run all of the updates on Windows Update. it looks like he picked up the version of Outlook Express with the bug that suppresses all attachments. you can also try sending email as plain text to see if that makes any difference.
Herb...
My Brother,
Uses Outlook Express and has a dial up service.
When he gets his email messages at home there is nothing there just who its from and the subject header.
The actual message is not showing up so what ever people type to him is just missing.
So his ISP had him upgrade to Express 6.0
and do a few other things and still it doesn't work.
So he called me, I went through a bunch of things with him and they all seem to check out. So I sent him a email and when he recevied it there was nothing there.
So I sent him another one and had him go online
to his ISP's web page and check his mail through
there web mail feature and sure enough he could read
it, so then he went back to Outlook and checked his mail and when he recevied my email the only thing that was there was the subject line and who it was from but no message. Could I be missing something here, has anyone seen this before. Any hints on what to try next.
Thanks
MAX
