What email you use. Apparently you dont use Outlook express. When it opens up. copy the address and go to your email and send it.

You clicked on a mailto-link. That calls your default email-program. And that's Outlook Express, I assume. To check that: go into Internet Explorer, Tools>Internet Options>Programs.
But even if you would be able to use File>Send message, it's unlikely that your email-account is defined in OE and then you won't be able to send the message.

You might be able to change it there to the program you use, but that depends on what it is. If not, do as suggested by simpson and copy/paste the email-address into your own e-mail program.

Nothing strange, nothing irregular, no reason at all to panic.

Hope this helps.

harmonious, ''outlook express came up and i typed a letter. however there is no send button.''

When that window appears right click an empty area of the Toolbar, choose "Customize" then move the "Send" button from the left pane (available toolbar buttons) to the right pane (current toolbar buttons).
