Outlook Ex vs Netscape Mail

Oct 3, 2004 2:44AM PDT

I have the same problems as a few other post's regarding sending pictures with Outlook Ex. When I use Netscape to send a picture inline, all I have to do is cut and paste. With Microsoft, it gets to be a major production. Is there any way I can use the same procedure of cut and paste with Outlook Ex?
thanks,

Only a couple of clicks. . .

After you start the email message, go to Insert, Picture. Browse to the picture, click ok.

Copy/paste works for me also but ONLY IF you have the format set to Rich Text (HTML).

I have it set that way, but when I cut and paste, the picture is there, but when I send it, I get a message that not everything will be sent. Nothing appears at the receiving end. Only text, no "paste" items go through.

Everything is checked for me to send pictures inline.. This is the message I get when I try to send a picture.
" One or more of the pictures could not be found. When you send this message these pictures will not be included. Are you sure you want to send this message?"

Thanks for the help. I can't figure it out so I will switch over to Netscape. I can't figure why Microsoft makes it so damn difficult to run their software. All this BS I've gone through just trying to get this program to work and I could have saved myself the aggravation by going back to Netscape.
thanks again,

Different programs work different ways. A solution has been provided to send pictures with OE. Have you tried it ? That's the way OE works. Netscape is different. With OE, you can do things which you can't with Netsecape - e.g. edit the message HTML code, to include a picture or music and sounds sourced from other web sites(with permission).
