Outlook Error Message

Dec 9, 2003 6:08PM PST

Good morning all,

I'm getting the following error message. Does anybody know how to get rid of it? FYI, I had Panda Platinum Antivirus on my notebook, uninstalled it, and installed McAfee 2004 instead. This is the error message I get when I load Outlook:

The add-in "C:\Progam Files\Panda Software\Panda Antivirus Platinum\PAV..." could not be loaded.

I'm assuming this is caused b/c a .dll file from the uninstalled Panda software can not be found. How do I get rid of this message?

Thx

"You Have an Outdated or Incompatible Add-in
Outdated or incompatible add-ins may cause mail delivery problems.

Add-ins, such as old Netscape extensions or Fax software, may cause e-mail delivery problems. Follow these steps to check your active add-ins:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options to open the Options dialog box.

2. On the Other tab, click Advanced Options, and then click Add-In Manager. Your active add-ins have check marks beside the add-in name.

3. To deactivate an add-in, click to clear the add-in check box, and then click OK three times to close all the dialog boxes."

There are other methods, but this is fairly safe.

robert is it possible that the shell extensions are lingering from the uninstall software? if so wont regcleaner remove these so the new software will function properly?
