outlook e-mail addresses

Where are e-mail addresses stored in Outlook?

I am able to address new e-mails by putting a letter in the address space and I get a list of addresses that are associated with that letter, but those addresses don't seem to be in my address book or contact list.

Where else are addresses stored in outlook besides the address book, or contact list?
