Outlook - Can I ....

Jun 10, 2004 1:13AM PDT

Now my network is actually working, can I have Outlook on my laptop keep up with all the emails on the desk top?
I use the desktop normally, but when I have to go away I have been dragging the .pst file across to the laptop and as its now so huge (I don't want to archive, I lost some files that way) it takes ages. Is there a way the laptop can be updated without dragging ? I tried to use briefcase, but couldn't understand how it worked even if it does with outlook

A common solution is Intellisync.

Is there no options within Outlook or Office to do this other than having to buy yet another programme ?

Yes, but what is your skill level and do you write some of your own software?

Review http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm as well.

No I don't write my own software, am reasonably proficient with Outlook.
