by gelguy / April 2, 2005 3:19 AM PST

Not sure why when I type emails and documents the typing freezes and then continues after 20-30 seconds. It's really annoying. I've got Office 2003 (latest service pack), xp pro sp2, intel 3.0 ghz pentuim 4, SATA drive, 1 GB mem. Help! Thanks

1. Your machine has an unused ethernet port.

2. Your machine has spyware.

For Microsoft Word, try the old standby cureall and rename NORMAL.DOT to NORMAL.OLD and try Word again.

Also, supply a Hijackthis log so I can look around. Your post doesn't tell what else is running but this log will tell all.
