Outlook and Outlook Express question

Jun 22, 2004 3:03PM PDT

I have 2 questions. When using either outlook or outlook express and I am sending out an email on an IMAP account it always stores the sent email in the local sent file and not the IMAP sent file. Also when deleting a file is does not delete the file. Instead it puts a red X next to it and when I check the email it still does not delete it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

With the red X, did you try to purge it. It's like in Outlook Express when delete something it moves it the the trash but it's still there when you view "show all messages".

Got it. The purge worked great. Thank you. Any thoughts on the "sent folder" issue.
