Question

Outlook 2013, when turning OFF Cached-Exchange-Mode ...

Sep 21, 2015 10:58AM PDT

When turning off 'Cached Exchange Mode' in Outlook, it is then not possible to right-click on an unwanted email and select /undesirable/Block. In Cached-mode we can. But in Non-Cached-mode a long message pops up saying... ''The filtre is not available for your Exchange account because you are working online. If you want to activate the filter go into Cached-mode'.

It means the option to blco is only available if in cached mode?
thanks

" If you work online The Junk E-mail Filter is not available " is noted by Microsoft on many support links. If you feel that's wrong, tell it's maker.

Someday when I run into a Redmondite I'll have to ask why this is.
