In Entourage I could forward a message from a member of a group and open up the group to delete the sender - to prevent the message from being sent back to him.

Answer
Nothing seems amiss here.

When I send a note to a group, it's done so members of the group don't know who's in the group!

Ok, just to clarify.

When I send the email, I can open up the group.

Any receiver will not be able to open the BCC in Entourage or Outlook or anything else.

As the creator of the email, you can open the group but if Apple or others tightened up security to disallow opening up the BCC Group from the BCC line then you may be upset with me when I write "that's a good thing."

As it's in the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy)

The BCC is specifically for use when you don't want the receivers to know who it went to.

Nothing new here so if you need me to re-write this I'll try.
