Outlook 2007 Render Issue with 1x1 Pixel Image

by webjedii / March 20, 2008 3:00 AM PDT

Does any have an issue with Outlook 2007 rendering a 1x1 pixel image as more like a 20x20 image instead in an HTML email? It tends to blow out table cells that have width and/or height of 1 pixel. Perhaps there is a setting in Outlook that can be adjusted?

Please only respond if you also experienced this particular issue and/or have a particular solution or workaround, not links to Microsoft's generic resources or another's white papers.

Yes, I already have googled the issue and read numerous articles on how bad Office 2007 is in rendering HTML and no I didn't use CSS.

thanks

2px minimum for cells
by mikecoker / November 27, 2008 2:59 AM PST

Outlook 2007 has a 2 pixel minimum for cells, so anything less is blown up to the default text/line-height for whatever cell you're in.
