Outlook 2007 Crashing

Apr 26, 2007 12:19AM PDT

I have a client that likes to write drafts while she is away from the internet and then send them when she gets to the office. Whenever Outlook is offline, it crashes and says it has to be shutdown. I can recreate this problem at the office by trying to work offline. I have disabled all add-in's and the problem still occurs. I have tried doing a repair of Office and it still happens. Aside from re-installing Office, do you have any ideas what could be the problem?

Call it in.

It sounds like a bonafide bug. Microsoft often has patches waiting for those that call in with a new bug.

Not Microsoft's problem

It turns out that they were using a program called SalesLogix that integrates with Outlook. It only happened with the four computers using that program. I called the company and brought it to their attention. They have since corrected the problem.
