Outlook 2003 on Vista

Feb 3, 2007 5:04AM PST

Just bought a new computer last night. Windows Vista.

Installed my Outlook 2003 on it, but the emails don't seem to be working. Is there a conflict between Outlook 2003 and Vista that I don't know about?

If so, what can be done to resolve the issue?

Thanks,
katiebug

this is a wrong setting. But, I agree, it could be a Vista problem in this special case. Did you already try the Vista forum?

What exactly doesn't work: sending, receiving or both? And what happens if you try it? That might provide a clue. What kind of account do you have, by the way.

I suppose you've got a valid license for a second installation and that you activated the program (which you don't tell about). I've got no experience with Office 2003, and it might even be that the product gives you grace period to register before becoming dysfunctional.

Thanks, here's what I've found...

Thanks. Realized there is no problem with Outlook 2003 after all (a second download, to be sure, but who's going to tell them?). When I checked the email accounts, I discovered I'd put in his email address wrong.

Duh! Why didn't I think of that in the first place?

Thanks for your response. To date, Outlook 2003 seems to be working fine.
