Outlook 2003 - interface not registered

Feb 17, 2005 3:37AM PST

Yesterday I updated MS Office. Today when I try to use Outlook 2003 it says "Interface not registered" I can't find (or don't recognize) any help for this. What do I do? I love this new version of outlook, but now it is giving me fits! Thanks Jansteph

there is a problem with your ole32.dll. all you need to do is press start, run, and type (without the quotes) "regsvr32.exe %windir%\system32\ole32.dll" and press ok on the message box that will popup.

Make sure you close all office application before doing it just as a precaution.

Good luck.

I ran this fix for a user with Office 2000 and it fixed the issue as well.
