1. It says: "To add a data file, such as personal folder file, double-click the Mail icon in Windows Control Panel." Did you? What happenend?
That's your outlook.pst file. It could be the Outlook 2007 one interferes somehow. Thinks like that can happen when installing work stuff on a private machine.
2. If it's for work, find the IT-staff and let them handle it. I think they are more qualified than you and me combined.
This is what I've got...
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Outlook could not start because a data file to send and receive mail could not be found. To add a data file, such as personal folder file, double-click the Mail icon in Windows Control Panel."
I've got Office 2007 on trial and work gave me 2003 for my laptop. Everything else with office works but outlook. I've repaired it twice and followed other troubleshooting instructions and this is the only error that I can't find any information on. The email server setting should all be correct, I don't know what else was not working.
My laptop has Vista Home Premium SP1 32 bit. Please help...
Thanks in advance
