Outlook 2003 Distribution list issue including Bcc question

Feb 19, 2007 7:43PM PST

Hello
I have created some distribution lists, some selecting members from my contacts and some by the "Add New..." button in the distribution window. My first issue is: when I click the "Update Now" button in the distribution list I get a warning "One or more members of this distribution list cannot be found. (I know I may not have checked the "Add to Contact" box when I used the add new button.) The options that follow the warning are, Would you like to: Remove lost members; Try to repair lost members and remove only those that cannot be resolved; or Cancel this operation and do not change any members." If I choose the second option to try and repair lost members would the removed lost members be sent to the deleted items folder? I want to know what members outlook removes. Second question, if I put a distribution list in the bcc, does the recipients of the bcc see all the names in the distribution list?

Any help would be appreciated.
