Outlook 2003

May 25, 2007 11:45AM PDT

I usually copy and paste information from a program to an email using Outlook 2003. The choices are 8pt and 10pt. The text that I'm copying is 9pt. Sometimes when I copy it, it will be 10pt and sometimes it will be 9pt, but it's not an option in the drop down menu and I cannot type a 9 there. So the email I'm sending is in different text sizes. It's just annoying. When I used Outlook 2000, it would copy and paste it with not problem.

How can I, a limited user add 9pt to Outlook 2003?

Thanks,

Rick

I am not using Outlook 2003 but...

isn't there still an option to customize the toolbars for the compose window?

You can add Font sizing to the Standard toolbar.

Rick, Can You?

I see two options here in Outlook 2002:

First, if you're using HTML as the format for messages, open Tools, Option, Mail Format tab, then in the "Message Format" section, place a CHECK mark in the "Use Microsoft Word to edit email messages". The click on Apply, OK. The # 9 font should be available.

Second...change the mail format to "Rich Text" instead of HTML..

Although I'm using Outlook 2002 here, if I click on "Tools", Options, Mail Format tab, Message Format section, use the drop down arrow to choose "Rich Text" instead of HTML.

Hope this helps.

So far nothing works

I didn't find font sizing

The use Mocrosoft Word to edit messages is greyed out as well as the one next to it.

Tried rich text, looks scrambled into one lump.

Tried plain text, was large also.

This is a work computer. If it can be changed, I'd like that. If not, the three people I email their changes to will have to live with it. I figured I'm not going to copy and past to a document, then copy and paste to an email. It's only one day a week, every other week.

Thanks,

Rick
