Outlook 2000 opens and immediately crashes

by dbrobinson / September 7, 2010 4:44 AM PDT

Outlook 2000, running in XP, opens momentarily and disappears. I googled the problem and have tried, I think, every solution mentioned from logging on as a new user, to attempting (unsucessfully) to start the program in safe mode, to uninstalling the program and re-installing it. Nothing works.

Does anyone out there have a clue?

Starting in safe mode produces the same results: the program opens and immediately closes.
