If you can mount old the hard disk as a slave in your computer and access it (that can be done in principle, post for advice on that - if needed - in the Computer Help forum with more details than you mention here) you can retrieve all your personal data, including Outlook data. For most data (like Word documents, mp3's and pictures) a copy with Explorer will suffice, for Outlook data you might need to use File>Import.
