Hello dmdean333,
Did you ever figure out a solution to your IMAP folder problem. I am having the same situation - had POP roadrunner email in Outlook 2007. Now have dropped the roadrunner, and changed to IMAP Gmail in Outlook 2007. Having trouble with duplications in the Gmail - it shows up twice in the 'inbox' and in 'All Mail.'
I tried creating rules to send the messages automatically to my existing folders, but it doesn't seem to work.
This is on a Dell Vostro 1720 laptop with Windows 7.
Using Vista and MS Outlook 2007, I've been using 5 different Pop3 email accounts going into one set of folders (the defualt folders plus a few that I've added). In order to better communicate with my BlackBerry I've changed the 5 email accounts from pop to imap. So I removed the pop email accounts in Outlook and added them back as imap accounts. The problem is that instead of using the existing folders (which is what I want to do), it created a whole new set of default folders for "each" email account. Is there a way I can keep each of the 5 email accounts as imap (but not veiw them), but still use just the one set of existing folders I have from the original pop email accounts?
