Which ax 370?

In reply to: Outdated bios for cpu help!

I see a 1.0, 1.1, maybe others. In a pinch I've had to buy a CPU that works with all versions of the BIOS then upgrade the BIOS and then install the better CPU. I no longer do that. A new motherboard is same price or less.

So yes, they issued a new BIOS on 2019/01/16 (F25) but let's look at the CPU list.
The 1600x appears to have been supported since F2 so how did you get a motherboard with the F1 BIOS?

I take this PC never ran with this CPU.

In reply to: Gaming 5 motherboard

In that case it's a warranty issue. They must provide a board with at least BIOS F2.

Shop fees here run more than a new motherboard (about 150USD minimum) so maybe you left out parts of the story but hey, let's go with the above. To fix it you replace the motherboard with a BIOS that supports your CPU. Cheapest exit I can see here.
