If this is desktop, then unplug from wall, open the side, find the jumper near the coin battery, short it. This will reset the BIOS to defaults. Try to boot then before replacing side, to see if you can, (remember to plug computer back in first).
Find out what you can about your monitor's max resolution allowed.
I am getting Out of range error and I read similar error description online but my problem is something different though error message is same.
I am using windows 7 in Desktop PC, with 15 inch TFT. Windows 7 is working fine but automatically I started getting out of error problem earlier it was resolved automatically after restarting PC but this issue I faced everyday. Last week my PC didn't start and giving me the same error, this time it was not resolved after restarting. I tried to start PC in safe mode but after 1 driver load it giving me the same error then I tried to open in every possible option in safe mode and getting same out of range error in almost every option. But Low resolution option is working then I changed msconfig option to base video but no luck. Reinstall grapic driver but no luck. Now I am not able to see even bios option. I tried to format my system but once windows DVD got loaded its again freezes and giving me out of range error.
First I want to understand what is the exact issue.
1. Monitor fault: But monitor is working fine in lower resolution and earlier bios option is also visible in standard resolution. And 1 more thing I tried to open monitor and got failed but now monitor screen shows little dark pink.
2. OS fault: But in same mode lower resolution its working.
3. Mother Board Fault: I don't guess but let me tell you still sometimes windows got loaded in lower resolution.
