1. I've never seen this on Windows 2000/XP with all the OS and Office updates.
2. If you have all the updates, consider what else is in the process such as Norton(?) and then remove that to see if that's it.
If not, call the bug in. Microsoft has patches that you only gain access to when you call in.

I have Outlook 2003, Windows XP Home. When I syncronize Outlook with my mail server, It jamms when finds a large message, and stops syncronization, preventing the messages after that one to dowload. This does not clean the server of the messages, because it has not completed the dowloading proccess . Further syncro attemps ends up repeating the proccess. I end up with multiple copies of everything dowloaded up to that point. The only way to bypass this endless loop is to go to the server, view the mail there, and delete the large ones. Only then I can syncronize and clean up the server.
Is there a way to enlarge the capacity of Outlook for large messages?
