Question

Other remotes interfering with soundbar

Hi after some help if possible I’ve just got a bush soundbar connected it through optical , all is good apart from when I use my humax youview box remote to scroll left or right it adjusts the sound of the tv ! My now tv remote does similar as well I’ve gone into my settings on my youview box and changed settings from surround to stereo but that has made no difference

This usually results in getting another make product and hope for this issue to not repeat.

That aside, test if HDMI ARC works so you can block the IR sensor on this bar.

Finally, do tell the forum when maker and sellers FAIL to give support. This way, members know what makers and sellers are leaving you without any support or ideas.

But there's so much on the Internet that what I could write is not going to hold muster against what articles we see on the web.

Let me try again. See if your bar supports HDMI ARC and then connect it to that port on your TV and set it up per the manuals or if you don't like reading manuals, call the maker to have them guide you.

-> If you want others to read the manuals for you, you'll have to reveal the make and models involved.

Also (again) share what makers and sellers have failed you. This is the only way that makers and sellers learn that abandoning the folk that buy their product results in social media pain.
