It was a security patch that caused this. We don't use Outlook for our email mailer because that would incur costs (of another copy of Outlook) and will break as Microsoft changes their system.
Here's something free and similar to what we use. -> http://www.beyondlogic.org/solutions/cmdlinemail/cmdlinemail.htm
Best of luck,

PS. Outside of not updating Outlook, I've yet to find a solid cure.
Currently we use microsoft access in logging items at my company. During the processing of new items it sends emails to recipients.
I always get a message stating that another program is attempting to send email using outlook and I have to ok through this before it will allow the item to be sent.
Is there anyway that I can allow certain programs to send email using outlook 2003 without prompting me for approval? This was not happening with outlook 2000. Ideas and help?
Thanks in advance
