General discussion

I have asked this question in the browsers forum, but apparently no one is in there, so I will ask it here. I hope that wouldn't be a problem.

Anyway, I just started using the FireFox 1.0 browswer and I was wondering how do I remove the Google search box and only have the internet address box?

The google search box is useful for searching for answers to questions such as yours without going to the Google site. Enter How remove google search box firefox and your will get lots of answers. If that does not help, post back.

I finally removed it. Apparantly there's a certain spot on the google searchbar that you click and drag it off onto the customization window. I tried to drag it many times and was wondering what the hell was going on. Finally I found this magic area on the bar and was able to drag it off.

Thanks anyway.
