OS X 10.6.3 update and Adobe Lightroom

Since installing the 10.6.3 update from Apple I have noticed an appreciable slowdown in the importation of image files from my media card into Adobe Lightroom.

In addition, it takes markedly longer for the files to be fully 'recognized' by Lightroom as evidenced by the three little dots above and to the right of each image in the film strip (in Library mode).

I have installed no other updates to OS X (the only one being in the Airport update) and none for Adobe Lightroom since the OS X update.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? I have found no obvious issues in Photoshop Elements, but I don't use it as much as I do Lightroom.
