There is no such thing as a dim question, just dim answers.
Built in to OS X is a fairly capable Help system. It contains a bunch of information which is, usually, easily accessible. Just type in what you want to do and a choice of answers should appear.
Typing in Screen saver passwords produced the following answer to your question:
For extra security, you can require a password to turn off a screen saver. In System Preferences, click Security and select "Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver."
Pretty neat, Huh.
Not everything is in there, so ask when you can't find an answer
Hello one and all.
Sorry if this is a dim question, but im new to the mac life and I have a quick question.
I am trying to set up my mac so that every time it goes in to either 1) a screen saver or 2) sleep mode, that when the mouse is moved and the Mac loads up again, I want it to go to the log in page (like my old Windows PC could) - is this possible, im sure it is but I just dont know how to do it
By the way, im using 10.3.2 OS X
Lots of Mac Love
