Question

Original iPad 2

Feb 19, 2016 1:31PM PST

I just upgraded my iPad 2 with iOS 9.2.1. I purchased this iPad in 2010. Since the upgrade it just closes out my app, Facebook, LinkedIn, News Apps, Sports Apps. This happens mostly when I try to surf beyond the the first page.
It is a 64gb unit with 39gb free on the iPad. Any suggestions out there. Thanks

Perform a factory restore.

Truth be told though- IME, the iPad 2 *barely* can run the latest version of iOS9 & accompanying apps. Any sort of group of apps open at the same time or graphic-intensive apps can make this rig quite slow. YMMV. The ideal situation would have at least an iPad 4 or newer to run well IMNSHO. Eventually, just being able to load the latest OS doesn't mean much....

have you tried a reboot?

Sometimes works wonders.

Delete the offending Apps and download them again.

Last resort, revert the iPad to factory defaults and start again

Thanks for your answer I have tried deleting the different apps and downloaded them again. Did not help.
I have since found out that the iOS 9 does not work well with my iPad. I guess I have to upgrade to a more newer version of iPad!!!!
Thanks for you help.
